Welcome to Monaco! Where the sky is always blue, no one has to do taxes, and tourists must be reminded to wear clothes.
We learned a bit about this history of Monaco during our visit. After a walk along the coast, we went to the palace and learned that a guy dressed up like a monk is all it takes to overthrow the government. We saw the cathedral where Grace Kelly is buried, watched the changing of the guard, and got delicious sandwiches for lunch. Mom and Brody set off to find a place for us to sit and eat and by the time the rest of us caught up with them, a seagull had swooped down and snatched half of Mom's sandwich right out of her hand.
Everyone's favorite part of the day was the aquarium. We saw sharks, giant turtles, and all the characters from Finding Nemo.
The best display was the clown fish. They really like to look at themselves. Here is a progression of how our visit to the clown fish tank...
