39. Picasso Has Normal Pieces Before Cubism??

It never fails. When we visit local markets, we always see something absolutely digusting

Today it was a skinned sheep head with eyes and teeth still intact. yumm!

This was the Santa Caterina Market. The less touristy market that most of the locals use. You might see something familiar in the roof. It was based off the dragon scale roof on one of the houses designed by Gaudi

After waiting around for an English tour, and suffering through some piano tuning during the tour, we got some great pictures of the Palau de la Musica! It's known for the amount of glass in it, including this glass chandelier! Windows surround the auditorium and the banisters are also glass, making the acoustics very unique. If you want to know more about these acoustics, ask my parents. They're treating themselves to a night out as I sit here clicking away.

There was a portion of ceiling that was different than those around it. Aparently the church next door was very close to the auditorium. So they knocked it down, after a talk with the pope of course, and then were able to finish building. This corner shows where the church used to be.

We spent the rest of the day scouting out pastry shops and at the Picasso Museum. This museum showed some of Picasso's earlier work and it was actually interesting to see what he did before inventing cubism.

And as for my friends in the U.S.A...

We saw some cool birds
too. that almost ate our fingers.
The Purduettes are
finding cool birds
